CONCERTS

Spring Concert - "In the Mood" - May 2016

Our aim in presenting our Spring concert is to offer you...

a feast of easy listening choral music...

...some old and some new, with each appetising course representing one of the many and varied types of songs or works the choir performs.

The choir will be conducted by Matthew Todd and our piano accompanist will be Jane Hepworth. We are delighted to have as our guests Lomond Junior Choir.

The Choir's programme includes:

...songs from My Fair Lady and other shows and films, Scots songs, Lauridson's Nocturne, Durufle's Ubi Caritas and, of course, In the Mood made famous by Glenn Miller.

So if you'd like to step out for a sweet interlude, a builder upper that will put you in the mood, come along and join us on:

Friday 6th May at 7.30 pm in the United Reformed Church, West Princes Street, Helensburgh.

Tickets are £ 8 (£ 4 for under 16s). These are available from First Class (W. Princess Street, Helensburgh), Choir members or at the door.

You're welcome, so step, step, step along here, and be... In the Mood.

Christmas Concert, December 2016

Each year we perform two major concerts in May and December, and from time to time make appearances at fund-raising and charity events.

Following on from our successful Christmas Concert last year we plan to make the Concert this year something just as special.

Our conductor, Matthew Todd, will lead us in a magical evening of Christmas music on Friday 9th December 2016 at the United Reformed Church, West Princes Street, Helensburgh at 7.30 pm.

We'll be announcing details about the concert in the Autumn.
